This garden landscape design turned a small, nondescript back garden with limited space into a series of distinct areas including an attractive decked seating area and a spacious-looking dining patio.

The main attraction of the garden was the waterfall. I chose large flat rocks which were laid sideways and jammed into place over base rocks. The corner then formed a lagoon with carefully chosen plant material which has grown to give the desired lush backdrop.

The planting scheme features plants with coloured foliage and varying textures to soften the hard landscaping and provide good ground coverage.

A small, non-descript back garden transformed into a real gem by careful design
